REVEL

THE B SPOT

Bench Start

You take the first set on the floor.

Athlete doing a dumbbell bench exercise at REVEL Fit Club

B is the code for a bench start. You begin on the floor with dumbbells and core, then switch to the treadmill for the cardio half.

It is the same 50-minute split as every REVEL class: Technogym treadmill intervals, bench strength with dumbbells, and core. The only difference is which half comes first.

Who it is for

IF THIS SOUNDS LIKE YOUR DAY.

  • You would rather lift while you are fresh and run after.
  • You want to focus on dumbbell strength and core before your heart rate climbs.
  • You are coming back from a run-heavy week and want the floor first.
  • You like the idea of finishing class on the tread.

Every spot still gets the full split. Starting B only changes the order.

The session

WHAT THE 50 LOOKS LIKE.

  1. 01

    Check in

First-timers arrive 15 minutes early with photo ID. Supportive shoes and water. Late arrivals cannot join the class.

  2. 02

    First half: the bench

Dumbbell strength and core at your bench. The coach leads the room; you choose the weights that let you move well.

  3. 03

    Switch twice

The room changes sides twice. Your treadmill half follows, with coach-led intervals on Technogym treads.

  4. 04

    Close it out

Towels, Malin + Goetz toiletries, showers, and the smoothie bar are all part of the studio.

Questions

What weights are available?

The strength half uses dumbbells. Pick a load you can control for the whole set and ask the coach if you want a form check.

What is the difference between B and DB?

B still includes the treadmill half. DB is a double bench spot with no treadmill at all.

How early should I arrive?

Fifteen minutes early, with photo ID if it is your first class. Late arrivals cannot join.

Can I start on the bench if I have never lifted?

Yes. The coach leads the room and can help you choose a starting weight and a simpler variation. Arrive early and introduce yourself.
